One of the 100 most influential people globally, Ayushmann is an Indian actor and singer.
From being the winner of the big television show MTV Roadies, to being a bright and inspiring actor, he has come a long way.

Early Life

Ayushmann Khurrana, who was named Nishant Khurrana till he got three years old, was born on 14 September 1984. He is the son of Poonam, MA qualified housewife and P. Khurrana, an astrologer and an author on astrology. Ayushmann also begin taking writing and literature as his hobby.

He finalised his schooling at St. John’s High School, Chandigarh. After which, he enrolled in an English literature course at DAV College, Chandigarh. Furthermore, he did his masters in Mass Communication from the School of Communication studies, Chandigarh.
After being the founding member of active theatre groups in college, Ayushmann Khurrana enrolled on a five-year Theatre course. Eventually, he began acting in street plays. He won several prizes for his performance, including the Best Actor award for playing Ashwatthama in Dharamvir Bharati’s Andha Yug.

Career

Ayushmann Khurrana, after his post-graduation in journalism, start up his career with being a radio personality at BIG FM, Delhi. Spreading his charm and skills in Big Chai – Maan Na Maan, Main Tera Ayushmann, earned him the Young Achievers Award in 2007. After several other shows of MTV, Ayushmann got into television hosting with a great talent-based reality show ;- India’s Got Talent.
His other shows include the singing reality show Music Ka Maha Muqqabla and Just dance

Ayushmann Khurana did his debut film Vicky Donor in 2012. He had done sundry preparations for the film, attended workshops and increased interaction with medical professionals. And most of all, he sang “Pani da rang”, which he composed some time back.
As a result, with the earnings of over ₹610 million, Vicky donor arose to be a great success. In the flood of reviews ; Rediff.com posted, ” Khurrana’s candid disposition and roguish face ensures his smart street drollery works like a breeze”. This film made him receive the trophies for Best male debut and Best male Playback Singer at the Filmfare awards.

The period of 2017 to 2021: a Breakthrough for Ayushmann Khurrana.

His skills in acting are clearly visible in the films Dum laga ke haisha, Bareilly ki barfi, Shubh mangal savdhan, Dreamgirl and URI- the surgical strike. As a result, The National Film Award for best actor and the Filmfare Critics Award for the best actor, are two notable awards that he earned. From Hilarious comedy-dramas to stunning Crime thrillers, Ayushmann perfectly seized every character.
