Early Life

Jennifer Lawrence was born on 15 August 1990 in Indian Hills, Kentucky, United States. She was born to Gary, a construction worker, and Karen, a summer camp manager. Jennifer has two older brothers named Ben and Blaine.

Jennifer went to Kammerer Middle School, Louisville, for her schooling. She was a big fan of school activities like softball, hockey, and basketball. Jennifer mentioned in an interview that her mother always raised her to be “tough” like her brothers.

Early Career

Once on a trip to New York City with her family, a talent scout agency spotted Jennifer. The agency arranged for her to audition for different roles. Her mother was not very keen on sending Jennifer to an acting career, but after seeing her talent, Karen agreed.
