Krishnakumar Kunnath was born on 23 August 1968 in New Delhi, India. He was born to C.S. Menon and Kunnath Kanakavalli. KK completed his schooling at Mount St. Mary’s School. For graduation, he went to Karorimal College, Delhi University. KK’s married life began in 1991 when he tied the knot with Jyothi. He had two children, a son named Nakul and a daughter, Tamara Kunnath. He has sung tons of hit songs in his career. Unfortunately, his death put a full stop to the series of megahit songs on 31st May 2022.

Krishnakumar Kunnath (KK) always had a strong passion for singing but before coming to the music industry he had worked as a marketing executive for eight months. The reason behind this is very interesting. KK wanted to marry his childhood love Jyothi. In order to convince her parents, he had to work initially as a marketing executive.

KK died of a heart attack 31st May 2022. The artist Might not be Among Us, but the art is here to stay forever. The sad demise of KK is truly the end of an era. Recently during the occasion of Father’s Day, his son and daughter took the Instagram to share their feelings about how much they miss him and how is life after his death. KK’s demise is a huge loss to the music industry and it is also for us as KK’s songs defined our entire childhood.
