Sanjeev Kapoor, a Rachael Ray of India in the industry of Indian food, stands out among celebrity chefs. Indian love chef Sanjeev fulfilled Indian love for food and explored a variety in every dish show Khana Khazana. He was a matinee idol for all food lovers in the 90s. Not only in India but also globally, Sanjeev cuisine made people’s mouths water with easy-to-follow recipes.
Sanjeev was born on 10th April 1964 in Ambala, Haryana, India. His father is a banker, he lives in a family with his sister Namrata and brother, who is working as CA in the present life. After completing three years of diploma in Hotel Management from the Institute of Hotel Management Catering & Nutrition, Pusa, New Delhi, he started in the hospitality industry in 1984. Furthermore, he worked in different hotels, from national to international around the world.
Career
Soon after graduation, he worked in ITDC and Ashok hotel as a chef for around two years. After, gaining good experience, which led him to be the youngest executive chef in Varanasi for six years.
He always wanted to be creative and a trendsetter in his work and industry. The attitude of never giving up on things and being innovative took him to the next level in the industry. Because of this nominated for Best chef executive of the country the same and the following year. Soon that year he was again nominated again for the same award and he also won the award.
The journey took him to the small screen, meaning television, where he launched his first cookery show on Zee TV, “Khana Khazana,” completed 13 years. Sanjeev’s dedication to things and his long-term management skills led him to become a food consultant. In the same year, 2010, he launched ready-to-cook meal products which sold over with high profit.

Personal Life
Interestingly, he met his life partner in Hotel at Juhu, where they resided once after her father retired from the Navy. Finally, in 1922, they got married and started a journey of loving in Mumbai with two daughters, Rachita and Kriti Kapoor.
He is living his dream of making Indian cuisine the number one in the world and empowering women through the power of cooking to become self-sufficient. And his culinary contribution and for putting India on the world’s culinary map.
