Founder’s details

Naveen Tewari – He is the founder and CEO of InMobi technology company. Firstly, completed his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT), in 2000. Further, he studied at Harvard Business School (HBS) for a master’s degree in Business Administration. During his IIT, he met co-founders hence started by the four founders out of a residential flat in Bangalore.
Mohit Saxena – Mohit is the Co-Founder at InMobi. Completed bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. Earlier worked at AT&T in the telecommunications area. Later managed technology operations at Virgin Mobile, designing and deploying their post-paid billing system. With the potential of technology and passion for innovation, he joined InMobi.
Amit Gupta – Amit Gupta is the co-founder of InMobi. He completed his undergraduate studies at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur in Mechanical Engineering in 2000. A serial entrepreneur with Yulu, Infiniti Research, Analytics works, and InMobi.

Abhay Singhal – Abhay is a Co-Founder of InMobi Group and the CEO of InMobi Marketing Cloud. Initially, he completed a bachelor’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT). Finally, he was recognized as one of India’s most influential and impactful young business leaders by the Economic Times 40-Under-Forty in 2018.

Advertising strategy

InMobi has grown from an SMS-based search engine to an advertising platform. Concurrently, it advertises through simple text-based, video, and native ads, including conventional formats such as interstitial and banner ads. Further, it also provides an SDK for the mobile application to integrate InMobi’s advertising within its app.

InMobi, a leading advertising company, launched a new e-commerce platform, Miip, which brings shopping and advertising together, giving push re-marketing. And later, on December 22, 2020, InMobi’s first content platform, Glance, raised $145 million in fresh funding in the latest round led by Google. Explicitly, Glance acquired eCommerce company Shop101 to strengthen its eCommerce layer. Later, Glance and Roposo, a creator of live entertainment commerce.
