The multi-talented personality, Rithvik Dhanjani, is a famous Indian model, actor and Host working since 2009. Starting from television shows, he participated in various reality shows and later appeared as a host for significant events. From the beginning, Rithvik was an active child and learnt dancing and playing musical instruments. Being an outsider, he holds his own story which opens up about his journey to Bollywood.
Early Life
Born on November 5, 1988, Rithvik Dhanjani is the son of Chandra Prakash Dhanjani and Rekha. Belonging from a Sindhi Family, he lived with his parents and sister, Heena. Soon after Rithvik was born, his family shifted to Dubai. He used to be a notorious and dramatic kid. After completing his schooling in Dubai, Rithvik moved to London. There he did his graduation from the University of London.
From their college days, Rithvik was very much into acting and modelling. He actively participated in tournaments and shows. Acting, modelling and hosting, three of them were his all-time favourite. Following this, he was involved in theatres for almost two and a half years.
Rithvik, after finally deciding to make a career in acting, moved to Mumbai. He enrolled at Kishore Namit Kapoor institute for an acting course before entering the industry.
Career
Finalising the acting course, Rithvik Dhanjani was ready to be cast on television. He began appearing for auditions. Every day, Rithvik gave ten to twelve auditions for shows and films. Without caring for output, he kept giving his best.
Finally, Rithvik got his first commercial; it was for airtel Fifa. Following this, In 2009, he appeared in the show Bandini for a cameo. He cast in a negative role.
Breakthrough
There happened a call that made a turn in Rithvik Dhanjani’s story. It was from the famous director of the television industry, Ekta Kapoor. She finalised him for the lead role in television series Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani. The show began in 2010, and Rithvik featured as an antagonist, a warewolf who fell in love with the lead actress. His character gained much popularity as a result of which his fan following increased.
The second Turnover of his career came when was offered to work in the most popular Pavitra Rishta. It was among the most popular shows of 2011 aired on ZeeTv. Through this show, Rithvik not only gained fame but the love of his life, Asha Negi. For the next year, he continued working there.


Further Success
In the following year, 2012, Rithvik showed his dancing skills in the reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 5. As a result of his excellent performance, he secured the third position. After this, Rithvik took his first step towards hosting. He hosted the show India’s Best Dramebaaz in the year 2013. In the same year, Rithvik became a part of the couple dance show Nach Baliye season 6. This time he participated with his girlfriend, Asha. Their chemistry and dancing skills made them win the show.


Up next, Rithvik appeared in the dance reality show Dare 2 dance in 2014. And the next year 2015, He hosted the shows Nach Baliye 7 and India’s Best Dramebaaz season 2. Later, Rithvik was seen as a contestant of the stunt based reality show I Can Do That. And again performing wonderfully, he won the show.
