Arjuna Harjai | Success Story of Popular Music Composer and Vlogger

Arjuna Harjai is a popular music composer and music director in the Indian advertising field and Bollywood film industries, having written iconic jingles, background scores, themes, signature tunes, and tv music. Arjuna’s most noted contributions are P.O.W – bandi yuddh ke, Guddu Engineer, and Lucknow Central. Presently, Arjuna is a successful YouTube vlogger.

Early Life of Arjuna

Arjuna was born on 28 February, 1989, in delhi, india. From an early age, Arjuna was drawn to music as he started playing piano as his main instrument. After completing his schooling at LPS School, he joined the SAE College in Mumbai where he took Audio Engineering passed with the highest score. Moreover, he mastered in Orchestration & Composition for Film & Television, Western Classical & Indian Classical Music Production. Moreover, He continued studying different styles of music and instruments.

In 2009, he also studied jazz and participated in various music exchange programs. The training from playback singer, Suresh Wadkar was his stepping stone and thereby, he started his journey towards success.

Career of Arjuna

Following which, he began to assist music composer Lalit Pandit on projects like Besharam and Dabangg. On the other hand, he composed iconic commercial jingles for major brands . For instance, his most viral jingle was with the brand Dettol (Dettol Dettol ho) , followed by Maggi, Cadbury, Berger paints, jio , amazon prime, myntra and many more.

Arjuna made his debut as one of the music directors on the comedy movie, Hair is Falling (2011). Consecutively, He composed the entire soundtrack record for the Punjabi producer Rajan Batra’s film Titoo MBA. However, his chartbuster single “O Soniye” sung by Arijit Singh became widely popular among the audience . His latest song “Ankhiyaan” is in the film Do Lafzon Ki Kahani, featured under the T – Series label.

Arjuna’s Breakthrough

Arjuna started working with a famous director, Nikkhil Advani in his movie Lucknow central , starring Farhan Akhtar, in which he composed three songs, a background score, and soundtracks for trailers and its advertisements. Critic’s appreciated his compositions in films Guddu Engineer and television series P.O.W. – Bandi Yuddh Ke.

Arjuna grabbed several awards for his work in Guddu Engineer, including “5th Mumbai Shorts International Film Festival”. Consequently, he won at “Creative ABBY Awards ” a gold as well as a bronze award for “Rab Ki Baatein” and “Raahiyan Ve” respectively in the show P.O.W.- Bandi Yuddh Ke(2016-2017).

Present

His latest filmography was for Motichoor Chaknachoor (2019) and Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare(2020) received good feedbacks. Arjuna Harjai recently worked with Persian singer “Elaha Suroor” to compose songs for the album “Sangaar”. Harjai composed the original music for the song ‘Dokhtor e Bahar’. This earned him an international scale reputation as a producer. During the pandemic, He started making day to day vlogs with his wife Divya and his cute boy keechu, following which his fanbase snowballed gaining him a golden play button from youtube for achieving 1 million subscribers .
