Disha Patani | Story of The Bollywood Beauty

A 26-year-old girl belonging to a middle-class family, Disha Patani is an Indian actress working in Bollywood since 2015. She is known for her works in the films Baaghi 2, Bharat and Malang. Also, she is the rumoured girlfriend of the great actor Tiger Shroff.

Early life

Grown-up is a Rajput Family; Disha Patani belongs to Uttarakhand. She is the second child of Jagdish Singh Patani, a police officer and Padma, a health inspector. After completing her higher education, she enrolled for a B.tech degree in the great Amity University, Lucknow. But unfortunately, she dropped out in the second year because she got modelling assignments to do.

After stepping into modelling, she participated in Ponds Femina Miss India Indore and became the first runner up. Before she entered Bollywood, she had been a part of the advertising industry. Many popular brands like Cadbury, Trends made her the face of their brands.

Career

After Becoming the first runner up of Pond’s Femina Miss India Indore, Disha Patani brightened up. Following this, she made her entry in South Indian Cinema with the film Loafer. As a result of receiving mixed reviews, the film underperformed the box office. But Disha’s performance was quite well, and it got critical appraisals.
In 2016, she was featured in the song Befikre, with the standout actor Tiger shroff, which excellently displayed her dancing skills.

Breakthrough

With the release of the famous biopic of Dhoni M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, Disha Patani got to see a tremendous commercial breakthrough. The film was a super success, as the earnings of 216 crores set the box office on fire. In the middle of all the reviews, Times of India pens down, “the performance of Disha in the film deserves a special mention as her performance tugs at your heartstrings.”

Another remarkable shot that she gave us was in the film Baaghi 2, a sequel to the hit film Baaghi. The emotional intensity that Disha Patani poured into her character was totally appreciable. With earnings of over 243 crores, the film earned commercial success.

Subsequently, she kept putting her best in her role in the films back to back. In the middle of 2019, she appeared in the movie Bharat; January 2020 saw her in Malang, opposite Aditya Roy Kapoor and in March 2020, she showed up in Baaghi 3, a sequel to Baaghi 3. Malang arose as the primary commercial success

Recognitions

Along with an extended fan base of 47 million people on Instagram, Disha has won several awards and nominations. The film M.S. Dhoni: the untold story, in the year 2017, made Disha a superstar, as she won 5 consecutive awards for her role of Priyanka.
