Early journey of Harshad Chopda

Harshad Chopda was born on 17 May 1983, in Gondia, Maharashtra, into a Marwari Jain Family. His father’s name is Prakash Chopra, and he has a young sister named Harsha Chopra. Completed schooling in his hometown after his PU college, his family shifted to Pune. Later joined graduated in Engineering from PES’s Modern College of Engineering in Pune, Mumbai.
His father never wanted him to become an actor, but he decided to proceed with his passion, moved to Mumbai, and attended a couple of auditions. Finally, in 2006 he aired in the Zee TV serial Mamta in the role of Karan Srivastav.

A career in the television industry

In his career Debut year, he appeared simultaneously in the SAB channel Left Right Left serial, featured in the role of Cadet Ali Baig until 2007. Further, he joined Sony TV’s Amber Dhara as Akshat Mehra. The year 2018 bought him immense popularity with the serial where he played Prem Juneja in Star Plus’s Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil. He quit in 2010 and started with a Star Plus in Tere Liye as Anurag Ganguly.
Moving around different channels, he also featured in NDTV Imagine’s Dharampatni, wherein he played the role of Mohan Gala for a year from 2011.
Many serials include Life OK’s Dil Se Di Dua, Sony TV’s serial Humsafars, and Colors TV’s Bepannah. Bepannah gained immense popularity among the top 5 shows in its first week.
Currently, he is featuring in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, which started in 2021 as Dr. Abhimanyu, which is also gaining high popularity among the many serials. In 2022, his team Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai participated in “Ravivaar With Star Parivaar.”

Filmy and music career

From small screen to significant flex, he made his Bollywood debut in 2017 with the movie “2016 The End” as Rahul featured with co-stars Priya Banerjee, Divyendu Sharma, and Kiku Sharda.
Later, he also established his work in many music albums over the past two years. His debut album “Juda Kar Diya” featured Erica Fernandes music by Steven Ben. And in the following year, 2021, he featured in 4 music albums: Humsafar, Pyaar Ke Saleeqe, Ghalat, and Aakhiri Mulaqaat. With all these, his mesmerizing acting and skills entertained his fans.

Achievements and Awards

Harshad was honored as the 16th among the Top 20 Most Desirable men on Indian Television, listed in the Times of India in 2017. Also, Harshad Chopda was ranked 19th in Eastern Eye’s 50 Sexiest Men List.
As a well-recognized face of the television industry, as “Great Face of the Year” and “Best Actor In Leading Role Male (Popular)” for duplicate serials Tere Liye. Later in 2018, for famous serial Bepannah, he was honored as Best Actor (Popular) and twice as a Male Actor Of The Year. For serial Bepannahwon Times of India’s Most Favourite Onscreen Jodi of 2018 with Jennifer Winget.
