One of the most Soulful Singers, Palak Muchhal, has sung for Bollywood films since the year 2001. She has voiced the songs for the movie Ek tha Tiger, Kick, Aashiqui2, kick and many more. Palak rose to fame with Kaun Tujhe song in the movie M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story.
Apart from this, Palak Muchhal has been a lot into charity works. In October 2020, she raised enough funds from her charity shows to feed 2200 children and save their life from severe diseases. For her outstanding contribution to social works, she named in the books Guinness Book of World Records and Limca Book of World Records.

Early Life

Born on 30 March 1992, Palak Muchhal is the daughter of Rajkumar Mucchal, an employee in a private firm and Amrita Mucchal, a homemaker. Belonging from the Indore city of M.P, I grew up in a Maheshwari family. She finalised her schooling at Queens College Indore. She enrolled at a commerce college in Indore for an undergraduate course.

Career

From the very beginning, Palak Muchhal intended to be a playback singer. During her teenage, she sang for six non-filmi albums. In 2001, Tips Music released her first album “Child For Children.” Her next album Palken was released in 2003, followed by Aao Tumhe Chand Per Le JaayeBeti Hu Mahakal Ki, and Dil Ke Liye.

To explore better career opportunities, Palak Moved to Mumbai in the year 2006. Her first Bollywood song was in the film Damadamm! In 2011. It went pretty well and received excellent reviews. “Pyaar Ke Silsile” was her second release for the film Na Jaane Kabse. But it received bad reviews. Being an acquaintance of Salman Khan proved profitable for Palak. Salman recommended her name to music directors. As a result, Palak got to dub for the song Laapata which featured in the blockbuster film Ek tha Tiger in 2012. The song was super hit, and Palak Mucchal rose to fame after this.

Breakthrough

In the year 2012, Palak Mucchal voiced the song Nainon Ne Nainon Se” for the film From Sydney with Love. It reviewed pretty well. The following year, Palak sang songs for the movie Aashiqui 2. She reviewed very well for her lovely voice in the song “Chahun main yaa na”. Her voice had exact the intensity which the love song required. This became her particular signature start to the Bollywood industry.

She has also sung “Tui Borsha Bikeler Dheu” for Rocky Bengali film. Next, she voiced the song “Jumme ki Raat” by Himesh Reshammiya. It emerged as a significant success of the year. Subsequently, in 2015 Palak expressed Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, and in 2016, she sang the beautiful song ‘Kaun Tujhe’ for M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story. This ranked as one of the top female songs of the year.
