Rohit Saraf | The Charming Youth Sensation of Bollywood

Rohit Suresh Saraf is an Indian actor who mainly works in Hindi Film Industry and Hindi web series Tv Shows. He also acted alongside Farhan Akhtar and Priyanka Chopra. He also has a lot of female fan following which he gained after his Netflix web series ‘Mismatched’.

Personal Life

Rohit Suresh Saraf was born on 8th December 1996 in Kathmandu, Nepal. He was born into a Nepali-Hindu Family. He was raised partially in Delhi and Mumbai.

His father Suresh Saraf died when Rohit was very young; since then he uses his father’s name as his middle name. Rohit’s mother Anita Saraf used to work in a private company in Delhi. Rohit has one elder brother, Ankit Saraf and two sisters, Swati Saraf and Meghna Saraf. 

He did his schooling at St. Francis D’Assisi High School, Solapur. Rohit completed his graduation from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. He is a trained Kathak dancer, he performed in many cultural events. 

Rohit is very fond of animals, he has two pet dogs named Rudy and Pishu.

According to the media, Rohit was in a relationship with Fashion Stylist, Varsha Harlalka.

He also has two tattoos inked, one is his father’s name ‘Suresh’ and another one is his mother’s name ‘Anita’.

Career

Rohit started his acting career at an early age, when he was 15 years old he made his debut in channel V’s show ‘Best Friend Forever’ as Sahil. He also appeared in Life Ok’s ‘Ek boond ishq’ and also in MTV’s ‘Big F’. 

Apart from TV shows he did many commercials for both national and International Brands, including KFC, Disney Channel, Engage deodrants, Sunfeast, etc. 

He also acted in the Norwegian film ‘What will people say’ which won the best foreign film at the 91st Academy Awards. Rohit made his Bollywood debut with Gauri Shinde’s ‘Dear Zindagi’ alongside Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan. He played the role of Alia Bhatt’s brother in the film. Later he also appeared in the comedy-drama movie ‘Hichki’ alongside Rani Mukherjee 2018. His movie ‘The Sky is Pink’ along with Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim was loved by the audience and was a huge success at the box office.

He was also seen in the Tamil movie ‘Kamali from Nadukkaveri’ He was also featured in the music video ‘Shola’ by Akasa Singh.

Rohit is also shooting for a film named ‘Vikram Vedha’ alongside big names like Hrithik Roshan, and Radhika Apte which is a remake of the directors’ own Tamil film ‘Same Name’. The movie is about to release on 30th September 2022.

His Netflix Journey

Apart from this he also appeared in Netflix’s original film ‘Ludo’ directed by Anurag Basu which was a dark comedy movie. Rohit also acted in Netflix’s original web series ‘Mismatched’ as the lead actor along with Prajakta Koli, a famous Indian YouTuber. He gained a lot of fan following after this show and no doubt he is a teenage sensation in India. Recently, he also played a role of a house host in the show ‘Star Host’ directed by Anand Tiwari.

Rohit is also shooting for his hit web series ‘Mismatched’ along with Prajakta Koli which is about to release in 2022 itself.
