Nora Fatehi is a Canadian model, actress, dancer, and singer. She has appeared in several Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu films. In 2014, Fatehi made her Bollywood debut with the film Roar: Tigers of the Sundarbans. She also appeared as a contestant on the reality TV show Bigg Boss in 2015. Fatehi gained recognition in Telugu cinema by doing item songs for films like Baahubali, Temper, and Kick 2. Before coming to India, Fatehi worked as a waitress in Canada. Early life

Nora Fatehi was born on 6 February 1992 in Canada. Although Fatehi comes from a Moroccan family, she grew up watching Indian movies and always calls herself “an Indian at heart”. While attending school, she worked as a waitress and a retail sales associate to earn money. She worked at these places as a side hustle and stated in an interview that it’s a culture in Canada. Fatehi said, “Everybody has jobs. You go to school, you work at the same time.” When her agent in Canada told her about opportunities in the Indian film industry, Nora immediately said yes. When she came to India, Fatehi struggled with the language and it took her some time to adjust. She was determined and never gave up.

Nora Fatehi’s career

Nora Fatehi made her Bollywood debut with the Hindi film Roar: Tigers of the Sundarbans in 2014. In the following year, she appeared as a contestant on the reality show Bigg Boss as a wild card. However, she was evicted on Day 84. Appearing on Bigg Boss helped her gain popularity in the industry. After that, she made her Telugu film debut by performing an item song in the film Temper. In addition, she also appeared with Emraan Hashmi and Gurmeet Choudhary in the film Mr X. Later, Fatehi did several items songs for films such as Kick 2 and Baahubali: The Beginning. Nora is a talented self-taught dancer. In 2015, she signed several Telugu films including Sher, Loafer and Oopiri.

The next year, Fatehi appeared on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa as a contestant. In 2018, she played the lead actress role in the film My Birthday Song, opposite Sanjay Suri. In February of 2019, Fatehi signed a contract with T-series as an exclusive artist. The contract states that she will appear on their upcoming films, music videos and other projects. Then, she appeared in the 2020 film Street Dancer 3D. Fatehi is also a singer and in 2019, she collabed with Tanzanian musician Rayvanny to release her first English song called Pepeta. In 2021, she became the first African-Arab female artist to cross one billion views on YouTube with the song “Dilbar”. Recently, she starred in the film Bhuj: The Pride of India. She also starred in two Malayalam films, Double Barrel and Kayamkulam Kochunni. Recently, she also appeared in music videos like “Saki Saki Remix” and also song called “Kusu Kusu”.
