History
Belgian Waffle was founded in the year 2015. Belgian Waffle is owned and operated by Bloombay Enterprises LLP. Shrey Aggarwal and Alisha founded the restaurant chain. The restaurant chain was the brainchild of Shrey Aggarwal who was in Manila, Philippines. He was attracted by waffles as a business concept. Its outlets are present in various formats, starting from an outlet in a mall, a food truck or the various independent or stand-alone outlets. Belgian Waffle became very popular and was the fastest growing chain in India within less than three years.

The restaurant chain has been very successful since the very beginning and they have more than 300 stores in over more than 100 in India. Belgian Waffle also has its international presence in Nepal and Dubai. The restaurant chain is very loved and appreciated universally. Belgian Waffle also plans to open more outlets not only nationally but also internationally. The product and brand are universally loved. Belgian waffle initially started with an investment of 15 to 20 lacks and the owners expected monthly revenues of Rs 5-7 lakhs with typical gross profits of Rs 80,000- 1.5 lakhs. The restaurant chain has over 300 outlets in India which excludes the outlets in Nepal and Dubai. The company is a global brand and is moving forward it has a plan to increase the number of outlets and open 500 more outlets in over 150 cities. It has outlets in cities like Pune, Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and many more cities. They also want to expand aggressively in Tier II and III markets by adding 10-12 outlets every month.
