Berkshire Hathaway Inc is an American Multinational company holding many shares run by nonagenarian legend Warren Buffett. Berkshire Hathaway.Inc mainly focuses on the long-term and frequently incorporates entire investment from companies. It owns diverse business shares from multimode, confectionery, retail and manufacturers, real estate, and several regional electric and gas utilities.
Start of business
It all started as a textile manufacturing company in 1839 by Oliver Chace, who previously worked in a famous textile company. In 1899, he merged the company with Berkshire cotton manufacturing company renaming it Berkshire Fine Spinning Associates. Further 1955 it again combined with the Hathaway manufacturing company run by Seabury Stanton, who was undergoing a loss. After merging, Berkshire Hathaway had 15 plants employing over 12,000 workers with over $120 million in revenue. The older branches were closed at the end of the decade.
In 1962, when Warren Buffett took over the textile industry, he understood that this business was warning no rise in revenue. So there took a diversion from the textile to stakeholder a share investment initially, started with insurance business purchase from National Indemnity Company. Moving forward, Berkshire entered the core of the insurance operation, adding significant capital to the company.

In 1966, GEICO principal insurance expanded with Gen Re, NRG(Netherlandse Reassurantie Group, and created bonds with the government to insure municipal and state bonds.
Later, He invested in Energy utility groups and bought ConocoPhillips shares for 82 million, giving consistent dividends and share buyback programs. Despite this, Berkshire sold its entire holdings in 2020. Berkshire Hathaway energy mainly operates in the UK, so the name changes to MidAmerican Energy Holdings Co.
Despite more investment, he started buying in the manufacturing and servicing industries. Such as clothing, vehicle recreation, product building under Acme, Texas, software, Featherlite, and many more. In-Flight services through Berkshire Hathaway, he acquired NetJets.inc, Jet Aviation, Aircraft, FlightSafety.

In 1977, Berkshire Hathaway purchased The Buffalo News and Courier-Express media houses. He started BH Media Group. As of March 2013, BH Media-owned 28 and 42 non-daily newspapers, collectively earning $140 million.
