Daniel Radcliffe is an English actor born on 23 July 1989 in London, England. He rose to fame from a very young age when he played Harry Potter in the Harry Potter film series. Daniel Radcliffe was born on 23 July 1989 in London, England. He is the only child of the only child of Marcia Jeannine Gresham and literary agent Alan George Radcliffe. He has ancestry from Germany, Lithuania, Poland, and Russia.
Daniel had education in three different schools, Redcliffe School, Sussex House School, and the City of London School. After the release of the Harry Potter films going to school became difficult for him. He completed his schooling with the help of on-set tutors. Daniel Radcliffe has admitted that he was not a very good student and thought of school as useless. Part of his reasoning was that he already knew he wanted to be an actor and that it would be challenging to have a typical college experience.
Career Beginnings With the Harry Potter Series
In 2000, Daniel Radcliffe auditioned for the role of Harry Potter in the film Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. After eight months and several auditions, he was finally selected for the role. Daniel was cast along with Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) and Rupert Grint (Ron Weasly). He received a seven-figure salary for the lead role but asserted that the fee was “not that important” to him. His parents chose to invest the money for him.
After the first film’s release, Daniel’s popularity shot through the sky. Critics took notice of him, and he got appreciation for his incredible acting skills at a very young age.
After three more installments in the series, the fifth part Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix came out, and Daniel called it the ‘most fun’ film to work on. The two-film finale, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 and Part 2 was released in November 2010 and July 2011, respectively. While Deathly Hallows – Part 1 grossed $960 million, Deathly Hallows – Part 2 grossed more than $1.3 billion worldwide; as of May 2019, it was the 11th highest-grossing film of all time.

In 2013, Daniel Radcliffe was cast thriller drama Kill Your Darlings. In 2015, he starred as Igor in the science fiction movie Victor Frankenstein. He also starred as Sam Houser, one of the founders of Rockstar Games, in the biographical drama film The Gamechangers.
In 2016, Daniel starred with Mark Ruffalo, Jesse Eisenberg, and Woody Harrelson in the action-adventure film Now You See Me 2.

Daniel Radcliffe travels between homes in the Fulham area of London and the West Village neighborhood of New York City’s Manhattan borough. He has been in a relationship with American actress Erin Darke since 2012, and they met on the set of Kill Your Darlings.
Daniel is one of the highest-grossing actors in Hollywood with a film revenue of $790 million, primarily because of the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part-2.
