Since then from 0 income to setting 300 store it shows growth. Further, they expanded with Trinethra, another retail store.
When Hari Menon decided to sell Fabmart to Aditya Birla Group, he planned to set new retail trends. Hence Hari Menon, Vipul Parekh, V S Sudhakar, Abhinay Choudhari, and V S Ramesh founded Big Basket in October 2011.
It was well-planned out business strategies that primarily targeted the larger cities. It has around 1000 brands and over 20,000 products on the Bigbasket online grocery store. By growing slowly and steadily, it delivered 50,000 orders daily, or 1, 50, 00,000-2, 50, 00,000 orders monthly. Another point that adds value to BigBasket is its ambassador, Sha Rukh Khan, running TV advertisements.
