Noah Centineo is an American actor and model, known famously for his role in the film to all the boys I’ve loved before. He also did the television series “The Fosters” and the Disney movie “How to build a better boy”. 

Personal Life

Noah Centineo was born on May 9, 1996, in Orlando, Florida and was raised there. He went to BAK Middle School of Arts for his schooling. He went to Boca Raton Community High School for his 9th and 10th grades. Noah later moved to Los Angeles where he went to Agoura High School in 2012. He has an older sister named Taylor.

Centineo had a rough time from when he was 17 till his 21st birthday and he describes it as a “really dark time”. Noah said in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar that he has been sober for the past couple of years. He was in a relationship with model Alexis Ren from March 2019 to 2020. He is also close with Lana Condor and Diego Velazquez. 

Start of his Career

Noah was made the lead in the film The Gold Retrievers which was a family film. After that, he got several small roles at Disney. Some of the shows were Austin and Ally, and Shake it Up. He also starred in the Disney Original Movie “How to build a better boy” in 2014. 

Noah got the main role in the drama series “The Fosters” as Jesus Adams Foster. He had his first appearance in season 3. After all this, Centineo was nominated for the Teen Choice Award for Choice Summer Tv Star: Male for his performance. 

He also starred in the teen drama thriller “Tagged” in 2017. In the same year, he appeared in the music video for “Havana” with Camilla Cabello. Jamey in Sierra Burgess is a loser and Lance in Swiped are some other works of Noah. 

Netflix’s success and its popularity

Noah Centineo is popularly known as Peter Kavinsky for his role in “To all the boys I’ve loved before”. He starred in this Netflix original movie which is the adaptation of Jenny Han’s romance novel of the same name. After this movie, he received positive viewers and critical notices breaking him out as a Teen Idol. He is known for his role in the Netflix rom-com movie “The perfect date” as Brooks Rattigan alongside Laura Marano. The sequel, “To all the boys: P.S I Still love you” was where he again returned as Peter Kavinsky. The movie added much to his popularity as people had started calling him Peter Kavinsky. 

There was a third part to the series, “To all the boys: Always and Forever” which aired on February 12, 2021. 

Noah will also appear in the DCEU movie Black Adam where he portrayed Atom Smasher. He is also negotiating to take a part in the movie which is about GameStop’s short squeeze. 

Awards

Noah has won the IMDb awards in 2018 in the category of Top 10 Breakout Stars. He won the MTV Movie and Tv awards for the movie To all the boys I’ve loved before. His movie The Perfect Date won him the Teen Choice Awards in 2019.

How did Noah centineo get famous?

His first notable role was as Jaden Stark in the Disney Channel film How to Build a Better Boy (2014). He was subsequently cast in the Disney Channel comedy pilot Growing Up and Down (2014), before landing the role of Jesus Adams Foster in The Fosters (2013), taking over the role from Jake T. Austin.

Is Noah centineo left handed?

In a WIRED Autocomplete Interview with To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You co-star Lana Condor, Centineo reveals that he is not left-handed, but Condor is. This came as a surprise to even Condor, who often works closely with him on the set and sometimes off.
